As a teacher, you encounter a vast variety of situations.
Some will stay in your memory for life, while others you might want to forget after exiting the classroom.
Others will break your heart – either because they are so terribly sad or make you feel extremely happy.
It’s part and parcel of the job – children have a unique ability to make us laugh and cry.
One teacher recently had to deal with a situation which left her feeling extremely happy – and she decided to share it on TikTok.
Teacher Stephanie Reed’s video has gone viral on TikTok with more than 300,000 views.
She explained in the caption: “She told me she had something nice to say…I just didn’t expect it to be this sweet.
“This made my day!”
The pupil can be heard asking: “Now can I sing?” before being granted permission.
She continues: “You smell like a rose, you bloom every day.
“Your hair looks gorgeous every day and your heart is beautiful-er than a star.
“I just love you.”
The sweet video has racked up more than 35,000 likes since being shared.
One person commented: “That would have made me cry all day.”
Another said: “I wish I had become a teacher for children every day.”
Another teacher added: “I used to work at a school for eight years and there was over 800 students.
“I knew all their names and they loved me. I loved them all back.”
Meanwhile, a man was left open-mouthed after strangers reunited him with a family video that had been lost for years.
Jono Marcus, 54, had assumed that the video of him visiting Kenya with his mum and dad in 1989 had disappeared forever.
But it went viral on TikTok and sleuths tracked him down after a man found it in a charity shop.
