BASE CAMP:

BASE CAMP is a dedicated point of entry for everyone unfamiliar to CrossFit Workouts. BASE CAMP consists of SIX classes, each an hour and a half long. This introduction enables us to make sure everyone who joins GZCF will get a quality introduction and grounding of the movements, optimal nutrition recommendations, and the physiological concepts that make up the CrossFit method of training. It also allow us, as trainers, to assess your level of fitness and limiting factors to performance.

  • Classes meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for two weeks. The morning BASE CAMP meets at 7:30 am. The evening BASE CAMP meets at 7:30 pm.
  • You chose between the morning BASE CAMP OR the evening BASE CAMP.
  • Each G.Z. BASE CAMP class will typically consist of a warm-up, workout of the day, and a cool-down.
  • Each class will provide a focused time used to introduce or review essential exercises and standards used in the EXPEDITION workouts.
  • Each class will provide a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our EXPEDITION classes.
  • ATTENDANCE OF ALL SIX CLASSES IS MANDATORY. PLEASE ENSURE YOUR SCHEDULE WILL ALLOW FULL ATTENDANCE OF BASE CAMP
